Founder & Medical Director
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dr. Rachel has always felt a deep connection to her community and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families. An honors graduate of the Academy of Math, Science and Applied Technologies program at Edward W. Clark High School, she developed an early interest in math and science but had not yet discovered how to translate those interests into her life’s work. That changed when her grandmother was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Witnessing her grandmother’s health journey firsthand opened Dr. Rachel’s eyes to the complex needs of patients living with chronic illness and the importance of looking beyond symptoms to support the whole person. After her grandmother passed away about a year later, Dr. Rachel made the life-changing decision to leave her career in accounting and finance and pursue a future in healthcare, guided by a desire to help individuals and families achieve better health and quality of life.
Dr. Rachel earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Sonoran University of Health Sciences in Tempe, Arizona. She later returned home to Las Vegas to further her training in acupuncture and Eastern herbal medicine at Wongu University of Oriental Medicine, where she earned her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. Her professional credentials include naturopathic medical licensure in Arizona, national board certification in acupuncture with the designation Diplomate of Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM®, formerly NCCAOM®), endorsement by the Nevada Board of Oriental Medicine for Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy, and certification as a NEXT Level Practitioner of the Neuro Emotional Technique® (NET®).
Although trained in primary care, Dr. Rachel developed a special interest in women’s health and pediatrics, with a particular passion for supporting individuals and families through important stages of life. She has collaborated with reproductive endocrinologists throughout the Las Vegas Valley to provide adjunctive care for couples undergoing fertility treatments, including intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF). She also enjoys supporting women throughout their reproductive journeys, from preconception and pregnancy to labor preparation and postpartum recovery.
In pediatrics, Dr. Rachel works with families navigating a variety of health concerns, including digestive issues, eczema, allergies, autism, and ADHD. She believes that every individual deserves thoughtful, personalized care that considers their unique health history, circumstances, and goals. Her approach integrates nutrition and lifestyle counseling, functional medicine testing, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, homeopathy, applied kinesiology, and acupuncture, with the goal of addressing underlying contributors to health concerns and supporting overall well-being. By combining her training in natural therapies with an evidence-informed approach to care, Dr. Rachel strives to help patients and families make informed decisions and build a foundation for lasting health.
As a native speaker of Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese, Dr. Rachel values the role of communication, cultural understanding, and meaningful relationships in healthcare. She is proud to be part of the following professional and community organizations:
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Rachel remains committed to giving back to the community that shaped her. Through her involvement with the Kiwanis Club, she enjoys volunteering and mentoring high school students. Her passion for supporting families extends beyond her professional life and into her own journey as a mother. In her free time, she loves exploring new foods, keeping up with Asian pop culture, and traveling the world, but her most cherished moments are spent with her toddler son. She delights in watching him discover the world, learn new things, and navigate each new adventure that comes his way. Seeing life through his curious eyes has deepened her appreciation for the importance of nurturing growth, celebrating milestones, and building a strong foundation for lifelong health and well-being.
For Dr. Rachel, healthcare is about more than treating illness. It is about building relationships, empowering individuals and families with the knowledge and support they need to thrive, and nurturing healthier communities for generations to come.
